Thanks to its exceptional optical and mechanical properties, NXT® exceeds the limitations of CR-39 (fragile with limited scratch resistance) and those of PC (inferior optical quality and impact resistance, low resistance to solvents and to cracking).

NXT® lenses,, visors and shields are made by casting (in optically-treated glass moulds) ensuring lower internal stress, higher optical homogeneity, and thermal/ mechanical stability when compared with injection moulded lenses, like polycarbonate.

NXT® is compatible with all materials, highly resistant to solvents, and thanks to its absolute ductility, is easily workable (it can be sheared, punched, riveted, pressure fixed, indented) without the annoying risk of stress cracking.
